Sadly for some, we’re back. It seems to have worked. I think. A random check of Ye Olde posts of hugeness shows everything intact. Alas, even the interviews!
That video sums up their precision. Watch it well through, it starts off boring and dreary, then hits a speed where you genuinely think CGI is involved!
And we’ve popped out of the vortex just in time, to read more 10.10 updates from Ben here. It sounds like a helluva update, with similar levels of frustration! As ever, be patient everyone, and make sure you keep a backup of your Xplane root directory (the one including the .exe) so you can revert back if it goes real pear-cider shaped!
A choice quote from Ben, love it! “To be blunt, I think beta 1 is a little bit gooey and underdone in the center. I think there will be a big difference in quality between the first beta and what we have 1 week later”.
At least it’s baking. Good news, if it’s a cake. Bad if its a roast chicken.
Back to serious, the next updates should be great, especially if the developments by a secret team member (I can only say his name rhymes with “Andreas”) come through. You’ll all really appreciate it once out.
I’ve redirected the old blog to this fresh new internet site (have you noticed all the amazing new features? 
) to avoid confusion for all, especially Google.
Once Chip and FT have paid me for the many hours of work involved in this move – really, it was sooo hard – they’ll be up and posting real quick.
